We like to work with architects and designers from the early stages of a project. This allows us to suggest the best use of techniques and materials for a given problem and so keep costs to a minimum. Our work with individual clients is no less collaborative. Typically, we develop a number of costed options with accompanying scale drawings and will produce prototypes for more complex pieces.

All our timber is to the best of our knowledge sourced from managed stands. Finishes can be made to match existing schemes and every piece can be sized to order. We can also make plinths and cornice overlength for scribing on site and we can provide a full fitting service using our own craftsmen if that should be what you require. In addition to this we can also supply hardwood doors, linings, skirtings and architraves ready polished for ease of installation.

Although the initial preparation of materials is machine-based, construction and finishing, including polishing, is completed by hand. This combination of modern and traditional manufacturing methods allows us to keep waste and overheads to a minimum, fulfil orders rapidly and maintain the high standards expected of hand-built furniture.
